   This train is considered as the best one on this direction. It is managed by a private company and has its own retro firm style. All carriages were fully renovated, so the interior is very modern. In this train the best service is offered – excellent meals, air conditioning. There are many carriages of the 1st class in this train. Thanks to its convenient departure and arrival time, high level of service this train is popular among businessmen and tourists.
2. # 2/1 “Red Arrow”

   This name is a brand known from 1920s, and this is the oldest train in Russia. The quality of services is almost as good as in the train # 6/5 but more democratic. This train is of a high-class with additional service offered in all of the carriages; and there is no 3rd class. The train consists of comfortable cars produced in Germany, which were fully renovated few years ago.

   This is a nice train of a high class. This train consists of new Russian carriages, clean and comfortable.

   A good train offers high-class service comparable to the service of “Red Arrow” and “Express”. The train operates under the private management.

   This train operates almost at the same time as the “Nikolaevsky Express”, and it is cheaper. So, it is usually considered as a good alternative for those who need to save money, and arrive before the working day starts.

   This train doesn’t have a proper name, as it is not of a high class. Nevertheless it is the best compromise of the price and the quality. There is just one carriage of the 1st class; the 2nd and 3rd classes’ cars can be with or without any additional service. Safety, comfort, cleanliness are on a quite good level – for less money.

   This is the fastest train operating between Moscow and St. Petersburg. It is very convenient for the businessmen, as it departs after the working day is over and arrives to the destination point late in the evening on the same day. Good option for those who prefer to avoid air flights. There are sitting cars of the 1st and 2nd class only.
3. # 160/159 “Aurora”

   We could recommend this train to tourists who want to see the country side from the window. This train has European level of comfort, good service and security. There are carriages with seats and sleeping cars of the 1st and 2nd class (all of them with additional service).
4. # 24/23 “Yunost”

   The slowest train, that’s why – the cheapest. It consists of sitting cars with plane style arm-chairs and sleeping cars of the 2nd class. Additional service is offered not in all the cars.
